Succinct website for growing Vasakronan

With a property portfolio worth over SEK 140 billion, Vasakronan is Sweden’s biggest property company and one of the largest in Europe. They currently own and manage 173 properties, encompassing a vast combined area of 2.3 million square metres.

Being the biggest in the industry means there’s a great deal of pressure on the company’s digital presence. So the old website was beginning to feel outdated and limited, which was why in 2018 we were given the opportunity revise it, together with an external designer.

Increase leads with smart search function

The website has several impact goals and purposes, the primary one being to support Vasakronan’s core operations – rental of premises. The solution was a clear and customer-friendly filtering function that works just as well on computer and phone. It also created scope for existing tenants and investors, a place to describe Vasakronan as an employer, and allowed the property system, news archive and fault reporting function to be integrated into the platform. Everything was packaged in a design that reflected cutting-edge expertise, accountability and innovation – entirely consistent with Vasakronan itself.

We had previously worked with a talented developer, who moved to Triggerfish. At the very first meeting with Triggerfish, we knew we were going to get along. They definitely felt like the right choice. I know agencies try to avoid dependency on individuals, but to be honest it really is the people you choose. After the first meeting with Triggerfish, I called all the others I’d contacted and told them we’d already found our agency.

It’s not often you give yourself a pat on the back, but we’re happy to now. Vasakronan’s tired old suit has been exchanged for a look that’s fit for the future. Previously time-consuming complications have been replaced by simple administration and smooth integrations with underlying systems. Over the course of the project, Vasakronan, with its brilliant project managers at the helm, has also become a valued partner that we’re continuing to work with, now with an emphasis on strategy, enhancement and administration. We’d go as far as to say that we have a mutual dependence on each other’s personnel. I think that reflects well on both of us.
